The Department of Semiconductor Engineering conducts integrated research spanning devices, circuits, systems, and packaging. Our research covers next-generation semiconductor devices and processes, memory, power and energy semiconductors, as well as nano-, bio-, and optoelectronic devices, with strengths in RF/wireless systems and ultra-low-power SoC and VLSI design. Furthermore, the department advances neuromorphic and intelligent semiconductors, energy harvesting and power management circuits, high-frequency electronics and photonics, advanced packaging, signal and power integrity, and design automation, leading the development of future intelligent semiconductor systems.
