암 예방과 치료를 위한 한약 및 천연물 기반 소재를 개발하고자 세포·분자·면역 연구를 중심으로 암 발생기전을 규명하며, 예방·치료 전략을 확립하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 

또한 한의 임상 빅데이터를 기반으로 특허화된 소재 선별 알고리즘을 활용하여 항염증·항산화 등 다양한 목적의 후보물질을 발굴하고 있으며, 세계 각국의 연구기관과의 공동연구를 통해 국제적 연구 역량을 강화하고 있습니다. 이를 통해 암예방 분야의 학문적·산업적 발전에 기여할 수 있는 글로벌 연구 인재를 양성하고자 합니다.

The primary goal is to foster creative research leaders who can contribute to human health and the improvement of quality of life. This is achieved through systematic research and development of materials for cancer prevention and treatment, utilizing natural resources and traditional Korean medicine.
